Terra AURum

Over time, the term “gold leaf” has become widely used – even for imitation materials such as Schlagmetal (imitation Gold and/or Silver). However, artists Cristina and Magda Staicut exclusively use authentic precious metals in their works.

Their paintings incorporate:

• Pure 24k Gold leaf
• 22k Yellow Gold leaf
• 22k Rose Gold leaf
• 22k Moon Gold leaf
• 12k White Gold leaf
• Silver leaf

combined with traditional tempera techniques or applied on Fine Art Giclée print photograph. This ensures true material value, durability, and an unmistakable luxurious finish.

Light plays a crucial role in revealing the beauty of Gold and Silver leaf. Depending on how light falls on the artwork’s surface, the precious metal leaf reflects differently – sometimes subtle, sometimes intensely radiant. This dynamic interaction enhances depth and texture, captivating the eye and drawing the viewer into the artwork’s inner story.
